Nasdaq Stock Tracker ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that shows a personal stock watchlist, charts, news and price alerts. This policy covers the extension only. The olalim.com website has its own Privacy Policy.

What we collect

Nothing. The developer does not collect, receive, store, sell or transmit any data about you or your use of the extension, and nothing is sent to the developer or to any server operated by the developer. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What is stored on your device

The extension saves the following using Chrome's storage (chrome.storage.sync):

• Your watchlist (stock symbols)
• Your price alerts (symbol, direction, target price)
• Your settings (theme, refresh interval, default chart period, sort order, density)

If you are signed in to Chrome with sync enabled, Chrome may sync this data across your devices through your Google account. This is handled by Chrome, not by the developer. You can delete it at any time with "Reset all" in the extension settings or by removing the extension.

Network requests

To work, the extension makes requests only to these two hosts, from your browser, and to no others:

• api.nasdaq.com: to fetch quotes, charts, statistics and related public market data for the symbols you view. Requests contain the stock symbol.
• news.google.com: to fetch public news headlines for a symbol you open. Requests contain the symbol as a search term.

These services receive your IP address and the requested symbol as with any web request, and are governed by their own privacy policies. The extension sends no other data to any server.

Permissions

• storage: save watchlist, alerts and settings.
• alarms: refresh prices, update the toolbar badge and check price alerts on a schedule.
• notifications: show a desktop notification only when a price alert you created is triggered. The extension shows no other notifications (no promotions, no announcements).
• declarativeNetRequest: set the request headers that api.nasdaq.com requires, for requests to that host only.
• Host access to api.nasdaq.com and news.google.com, as described above.

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute remote code. All scripts, including the charting library, are bundled in the package.

Children

The extension is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal information.

Market data comes from public Nasdaq web endpoints and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. Nothing in the extension is financial advice. The extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nasdaq, Inc. or Google.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
